Delaware Bulldozing was started by George LaFever in1981. Small summertime excavation projects and winter logging with a backhoe, mid-sized bulldozer, and a worn-out dump truck soon turned into the operation we know today. We have a full fleet of seven excavators, four bulldozers, five dump trucks, and many other pieces of specialized equipment.
Duane LaFever
President
Second-generation owner and manager, Duane runs a tight ship with pride while raising the next generation of family business owners in his two sons, Cody and Cullen.
Karen LaFever
Office Manager
Officially she's the office manager—unofficially, Karen's expertise in drawings and plan reading, her technical acumen, and her administrative skills make her an invaluable part of the DBC team.
Cody LaFever
Engineering Advisor
With nearly a decade of engineering design experience in the drinking water and wastewater industry, Cody brings valuable expertise in construction inspection and supervision for site civil and municipal projects.
Cullen LaFever
Estimator
Cullen started in 2015 with hand labor and has since majored in Construction Management at SUNY Delhi, graduating in 2019 and working full-time since 2020.
George LaFever
Retired
George worked with his brother Howard at LaFever Excavating for two decades before starting Delaware Bulldozing in 1981. He managed the business until 1999, when he turned it over to his son Duane. George is now 90, enjoying retirement, and still actively involved in family business affairs.
