History

Our story begins in 1960 with George C. LaFever who worked in the excavating field, building roads, clearing land and making ponds. Today, Delaware Bulldozing Corp. is a second generation family run business since 1981, with a third generation coming on strong. Many of the company’s first jobs were clearing projects, which we still do today. We have over 50 years of experience and have been expanding our equipment and manpower to accommodate the needs of the community. We are a capable, experienced, viable family and community oriented business. The base of operations is located in Stamford, near the Hamlet of Bloomville on Delaware County Route 18. Delaware Bulldozing Corp. has 15 employees from the local area, many of whom have been here over 10 years, with some over 25 years. We offer health and pension plans, and take great pride in giving back to the community with donating our services to local churches and other organizations.
